Stranger in My Own Skin é um retrato íntimo sobre a vida do músico britânico Peter Doherty (Libertines), com particular enfoque na luta que travou contra o vício das drogas. A partir das filmagens que Katia deVidas (realizadora e esposa de Doherty) reuniu ao longo dos últimos dez anos (mais de 200 horas de material exclusivo), o filme segue o cantor e compositor enquanto este se deixoa cair na escuridão, no auge de seu sucesso, e descreve também a luta que travou contra seus próprios demónios. Uma lenda punk-rock de puro amor e puro caos.

Stranger in My Own Skin is an intimate portrait of the life of British musician Peter Doherty (Libertines), with a particular focus on his struggle with drug addiction. Based on the footage that Katia deVidas (director and Doherty's wife) has gathered over the last ten years (more than 200 hours of exclusive material), the film follows the singer-songwriter as he fell into darkness at the height of his success, and also describes his fight against his own demons. A punk-rock legend of pure love and pure chaos.
